Since 1994, Mr. Lu has been an arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (arbitrator in over 20 joint venture, trade and finance disputes, presiding arbitrator in approximately 9 disputes). From October 1992 to January 1993, Mr. Lu was a legal assistant at Cooper, Erving, Savage, Nolan & Helen, LLP, Albany , New York . From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Lu worked for Shenzhen Commission of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration in charge of the Secretariat. From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Lu was a Lecturer, teaching courses on international economic law and international trade law. Mr. Lu was invited to give seminars to New York University, School of Law and Columbia University School of Law in 1993 and 1992 respectively on Arbitration in the PRC and Dispute Resolution and Foreign Trade in China .

Mr. Lu was a PRC legal counsel and personal assistant to the managing director of HKR International, Ltd, Hong Kong , responsible for numerous successful projects in China , such a US $14 million joint venture, a US $20 million purchase of assets of a Chinese factor, and a US $2.8 million purchase of assets of a Chinese company.

Mr. Lu is a member of All China Lawyers Association and a director of US-China Lawyers Society.
