In China , DeHeng Law Offices covers a broad range of
domestic and international transactions, with particular emphasis on
assisting clients in the capital markets. It has served as counsel to
the Three Gorges Project Corporation (CTGPC), China's largest public
project in the 20th and 21st Centuries, in the bond issuing of
approximately ₯16 billion (RMB), or over two billion US dollars,
by the end of 2002, and to Shanghai Hong Qiao International Airport
Company, Ltd., in the public issuing of 1.3 billion yuan RMB of
convertible bonds for the new Hong Qiao International Airport. DeHeng
is also a legal counsel for the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In addition,
DeHeng was counsel in the IPO of A-Series and B-Series stocks in China
for major Chinese companies such as Ben Xi Steel Corporation, Beijing
