April 2008 – Mr. Xiaomin Chen, Advisor to the China-US Real Estate Council (“CUREC”) coordinated a four day trip to China for a delegation from CUREC, which consisted of CBRE, ING, Cordish, Tishman Speyer, Wal-Mart, CitiRealty, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, AMB Capital, and Standard Chartered-Istithmar Real Estate Fund Management. The delegation visited Shanghai and Beijing and met with top Chinese developers such as Vanke, Vantone, Central China Real Estate Group, Zendai, Narada, Qingdao Eldo, Tiantai, CIFI Group, Sunny World, Nanjing New City Real Estate, and CURA Investment Management. In Beijing, the delegation met with Mr. Qi Ji, Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction, Mr. Song Chun Hua, the president of China Real Estate Association, and other leaders from China’s real estate industry.
