Mr. Paul is a consulting attorney at DeHeng Law Offices, holding a New York State Attorney License. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree with highest honors from Harvard University.
With over 20 years of practice, Mr. Paul has represented more than 65 publicly traded companies in the United States. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law, specializing in providing services to growth companies. Mr. Paul previously worked at Otterbourg Law Firm and Morrison Cohen LLP. In the securities market, he represents both private and public companies in equity and debt securities public offerings, and other financing transactions. He also provides ongoing consultation on securities law compliance and governance issues for his clients. Mr. Paul’s clients engage in various business activities, many of which are startups. The companies he represents span diverse fields, including energy, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, computer software, internet applications, medical devices, advanced materials, and manufacturing.
Mr. Paul was a partner at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, where he helped establish the firm’s East Coast operations and expanded its corporate and securities law practice. Prior to that, he was a partner at Eilenberg Krause & Paul, LLP, where he contributed to the development of the firm’s Asia business team and represented a variety of public and private companies.
Mr. Paul is fluent in Chinese.
